Question : Problem: Can I put an AGP 8x card in a computer with a AGP 4x slot?

I have a Dell Dimension 4550 with an ATI Rage 128 video card (4x AGP).
I want to buy a better video card. Can I put an AGP 8x card in the AGP 'x slot of my computer?

Hi riziv,

Yes you can, although the AGP 4x slot is in theory slowere than the  8x card, you most likely won't notice the difference with the average videocard, not even in benchmarks.
