Question : Problem: Server overheating

I have an HP Proliant DL 360 running Windows Server 2003 and continuously receive event id: 4111 which tells me that my system has overheated and then it shuts down.  When I look at the system the fans are running and the management console reports no over-heating.  Any thoughts as to what may be happening?

Answer : Problem: Server overheating

If the server is still under warranty call HP.  Make sure the actual room the server is in is air conditioned and has ventilation.  If the room is too hot it won't matter how much the fans are running the server will overheat.  You can also make sure the computer is clean on the inside and doesn't have a lot of dirt or dustballs that could be plugging the ventilation holes.
