Question : Problem: Disable Pop Up

When the you enable the WiFi interface you are presented with a pop up for each wireless network that the HP iPAQ 6315 detects. In an area that is painted well one could receive dozens of dected network pop up messages until the network of choice is associated and authenticated to.

The exasct pop up is --> "New Network Detected". If this isn't trouble enough, in order to have the pop up go away one must select "hide" (of course once the iPAQ associates to desired wireless LAN no further pop ups are presented).

Your question, for 500 big ones, is:  "Is there are way to disable all wireless pop up notifications that inform the iPAQ user that a new network has been detected? If so, how do I sucessfully disable these troublesome notifications?

Answer : Problem: Disable Pop Up

To disable even more you can disable the Wireless Zero Config alltogether.  This will prevent the popups and disable the auto-association with new APs.  You'll need to connect to each one manually.
