Question : Problem: Pearl Blackberry does not send or receive messages after password change on email server.

Using postfix on a linux box to serve email for us. Former Sys Admin gone - consultant changed the passwords on the server for top managers. After which the CEOs Pearl Blackberry has no message. This is an IMAP account that was working fine before the password change. I ran Desktop Manager sync - it ran without error. Still there is no messages on the BB. I was not able to determine where the or if the password needs to be changed on the BB.

I have resolved this with Verizon. They had to do a service reconfig on their end to reflect the passwd chg.
