Question : Problem: How to restore one public folder back to public folders?
We are using Backup Exec. 11.d to backup to tape nightly. We do not backup Information Store, but rather select the mailboxes and public folders.
I need to restore one folder within public folders. Once I inventory the tape, go to restore and select the folder I want to restore, what do I do next? There seems to be so many options. I've tried doing something similar before but I was selecting individual messages and when they were restored, they didn't contain anything except the to/from info and the subject line.
Any advice?
Thanks.
Answer : Problem: How to restore one public folder back to public folders?
Just select the folder and restore it. None of the check boxes relate to PF's.
Just make sure the account you are using has rights for Exchange and you are good to go.
