Question : Problem: hp 9050N  50.4 fuse error message

Hi all
I have a Hp printer 8550n
suddenly give me an error 50.4 fuser error cycle power,
I search in hp page and give me some reason for the error,
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=bpl12591&locale=en_US#N100B4

I re- check all the posible causes and all is find ,
the only problem that i find is even isn't printing, the fuser is too hot, I don't know if is a problem whit the fuser (the part) that isn't work any more or is a more serious problem with a heat sensor or the  power circuit.
please any one has any similar experience
thank you
ernesto

That indicates to me that at least power circuit is heating the unit. It could be the temperature sensor on the fuser unit or the sensing circuitry in the printer. Fuser is easier and cheaper to try first. If not that then you have a spare to use at a later date when required. If you have another printer of same model swap the fuser units between them.
