Question : Problem: Where should I install Vista64? On a Velociraptor or a SSD raid setup?

I'm about to build a new system. I have a Velociraptor from WD 300Gb and 2x64Gb Ocz Core Series Solid State Drives, to use in a Raid setup. I have about 2 Tb of drive space for multiple backups so security is not an issue here.

I was wondering, I'm about to install Vista64 but should I use the Velociraptor or the SSD raid as the operating system drive? I know Solid State Drives last longer the less you write upon them, so is it wise to install the OS on them? Maybe it could be done, but the documents folder and the swap file should go on another drive to minimize writing on the SSD raid?

No, it's been a decade or so since any flash device had only 10,000 write cycles.   But it is true that MLC:SLC endurance can vary by 10:1 or more.   Assuming a 10:1 factor, that means -- in my example above, that the MLC life with CONSTANT writes would be 5.1 years.   Even if it's as bad as 30:1 (which some claim it can be) that would still be 1.7 years (so you'd get a new drive under warranty).   But those figures assume CONSTANT, NON-STOP write activity to the drive ... so they're simply not realistic.   In real life, you're not likely to even be writing even 1% of the time .... so I simply wouldn't worry about it.   You DID buy the SSDs for speed -- right?   So take advantage of them :-)
