Question : Problem: Need to recover data from SCSI drives
|
|
Up until recently, I had a fully working HP ML350 G3 server. Unfortunately the PSU and/or motherboard has died, and I am trying to work out how best to recover some of the data on the hard drives.
I'm not too familiar with SCSI technology, so could do with some advice please!
The drives are 36.4GB, 10K Ultra320 SCSI. I don't have another server to connect the raid array too, and as the SCSI card is a 64-bit PCI card, I am unable to use it in a standard PC.
If you needed to recover data from one of the drives using a normal PC, what hardware would I need to achieve this? Any help greatly welcomed!

I can't answer that one. maybe someone else will know.
Did you dowload the Maintenance manual for this server ?
It may have more specific info.
