Question : Problem: Compaq - array configuration - password

We have a HP ML 350 server, where we are unable to launch the compaq smart array configuration. You always have to logon before you can see the array configuration etc - and the password are normally the admin password of the server - but it does not work.

The admin password have been changed long time ago on the server, and nobody knows the old password anymore, as I suppose the software is attached to this old password.

How it is possible to reset this password, so we can login again

Usually the password for HP Tools is the same as the systems admin password. Depending on your Supportpack version, reinstallation of ACU could refresh the password to the current. Workaround:
To bypass the admin login screen go to HP System Tools ---> HP Array Configuration Utility ---> Setup HP Array Configuration Utility, and configure as Local Application Mode(Default).
