Question : Problem: Wipe Blackberry 8100 using Desktop Manager
I have a Blackberry 8100 handset returned to me by its user as it has a faulty scroll ball. The user has a new handset but i need to wipe this one completely of all user data before I send it off to be repaired or recycled.
I can get to the option in the device to wipe the handset but as i can't scroll up, faulty scroll ball, i can't select continue to actually confirm the wipe command.
Is there any other way of wiping the device?
Answer : Problem: Wipe Blackberry 8100 using Desktop Manager
This article lists all the ways. I would recommending doing option 1, 2 or 3. I have never done option 4.
