Question : Problem: Can't tell left from right computer speakers

I have a pair of used Sun CP55 computer speakers. How do I tell which is the left speaker and which is the right speaker? They're not marked. They are not powered and have no subwoofer or instruction manuel.

The quicket thing I can think of is if you have a CD or MP3 that has music or audio that you know goes from left to right or right to left you can adjust your speakers accordingly.
