Question : Problem: MyDVD keeps trying to reinstall and it can't find MyDVD.msi

I'm on an HP m7674n and MyDVD keeps trying to reinstall. It can't ind MyDVD.msi. I can't remove the application because sing Control Panel, Uninstall Programs, it thinks there is an installation in progress. This just started happening this morning. I tried a restore point from a few weeks back but it said no changes were made so no restore available. I saw a similar post months ago and many hits by Googling but nothing I saw is a fix in my situation.
