on our Terminal server (2003) which is the best way to setup the memory on the server Performance: Background services or Programes? Memory: Programs or sys cache?
How do I stop the Dell background trying to load when users remote in?
Any other tips worth thinking about ?

I would set both to Programs. Regarding the Dell background, on the RDC icon there is a tabpage called Experience. You can untick to disable whatever you dont want from the list.
