Question : Problem: Mystery loss of audio volume

I'm clueless as to why, but it seems I've recently lost a good deal of the audio volume output on my Lenovo t60 laptop. I've tried updating drivers, restoring older files. So far, no luck. Any advice? Has anybody else encountered this issue? I'm not sure what else to try. I hope I don't need a new sound card or something. The laptop is barely a year old and it doesn't get a ton of use.

Have you checked all of the sliders in sndvol32.exe?
