Question : Problem: Multiple wireless adapters problematic

We have a PC running Windows XP  Pro that has had multiple issues with the wireless adapters, both internal and external.  They will drop connectivity or cease all together for no apparent reason.

I've tried to reset the IP stack with netsh but no change.

Is there any way to reinstall XP over XP and not lose anything?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
