Question : Problem: App server / License server communication Issue
When I look at the properties of the Citrix farm in the Management Console, it is pointing to the az1prdns5 as the license server; however, when I open a command prompt and run "lmstat -s" it says the license server is md1cssctrixsr (the application server itself): C:\Program Files\Citrix\Licensing\LS>lmstat -s lmstat - Copyright (c) 1989-2004 by Macrovision Corporation. All rights reserved . Flexible License Manager status on Tue 3/4/2008 22:02 [Detecting lmgrd processes...] License server status: 27000@md1cssctrixsr License file(s) on md1cssctrixsr: C:\Program Files\Citrix\Licensing\MyFiles\ citrix_startup.lic: md1cssctrixsr: license server UP (MASTER) v9.2 Vendor daemon status (on md1cssctrixsr): CITRIX: UP v9.2
I'm sure there is some way to correct this, but I'm not sure what it is. The application server has the expired trial license, and I need to know how to force the app server to look to the actual license server whenever I use the "lmstat -a" command. Is there a command-line tool to do this?

We added the latest SA license to the license server, which resolved the issue.
