Question : Problem: Re-installing OS X to a MAC with Vista installed

Hi,
I have a client who received a beautiful iMac for Christmas. It is her first Mac and she had a couple of problems working out the keys. She asked a "friend" to help and he took it away.
To her horror when he returned it he had wiped it, installed Vista Ultimate and thought she would be thrilled.
I service and maintain her company PC's and she asked me for help as Mac support here is thin on the ground.
Not being a Mac man myself, I need to know how to reinstall ther original software. I have all the discs that came with the machine:
Mac OS Install Disc 1 with Mac OS version 10.5.4 (which helpfully says "To start up from Mac OS X hold down the C key as the computer starts up" -  I have tried this several times and it does nothing)
Mac OS Install Disc 2
The machine also has an Apple MIghty Mouse and an Apple Wireless keyboard.

Any help would be gratefully recieved

You're too good... you're answering your own questions.

Yes, the option key allows you to choose between each OS... which is good becuase he could have opted to wipe off OS X entirely, but that's fixable as well.

Anyway, if she doesn't want the Vista on her mac, you can run the bootcamp assistant wizard from OS X and it will remove the extra partition so that only OS X is left.

You can find that in Finder under Applications, Utilities
