Question : Problem: Why do my Cooling Fans Start then Stop then my Laptop overheats...?

Ok so my toshiba laptop cooling fans start when I turn it on but right away they stop spining and as soon s the computer / CPU gets to hot of course it shuts down.... Please help I've seen this problem many times but have never found a solution

You could check to see if the heatsink and/or fan vents are clogged. This could cause incorrect readings from temperature sensors. Use compressed air to clear dust etc (not a vacuum cleaner)
