Question : Problem: Block Wireless Users from accessing Windows Server 2003 by MAC Address

We want to allow wirless access to the internet but not to our server.  Is there a way to totally block wireless users from even seeing our windows 2003 server?  I know I can create a DMZ, but the Linksys router we have does not allow us to setup a DMZ that would prevent wireless users from seeing the rest of the harwired LAN.  Do I need to replace the router, or is there some setup in WIndows Server 2003 that will allow me to block them?

Answer : Problem: Block Wireless Users from accessing Windows Server 2003 by MAC Address

Quickest solution:
Install a $50 Linksys wireless router.  Set it up with it's own private IP subnet. WAN port will plug into your existing cable modem/router.  You can use the wireless connection on your cable modem/router for admin access, or disable entirely.

When detecting suspicious wireless activity, it is easy to unplug the separate wireless router without taking down your entire LAN.
