Question : Problem: unable to run HP Director - IE script errors

I am unable to run HP Director. When I attempt to, I receive numerous Internet Explorer Script Errors. I have checked the "Disable Script Debugging" item, tried installing and reinstalling the HP Scanjet 8250 software several times, but all with the same outcome. I am using IE Verion 7.0.5112.0 Beta 1 with SP2. I wonder if the beta product might be the problem. If so, is there a way to reinstall IE version 6 without having to reinstall Service Pack 2?

not sure about the sp 2, but you can reinstall IE as follows : go to start>control panel>software (or add remove programs)>select the button on the right add / remove windows programs - scroll down to IE and uninstall it. reboot, and install it again from the same location
