Question : Problem: Terminal Services Licensing
I have a windows 2000 terminal licensing server. I am gettin the following in the event log
The Terminal Services Licensing server BOB has no license pack registered for product 'Windows 2000 Terminal Services Client Access License'. Use Terminal Services Licensing administrative tool to register the licenses pack.
This only seems to be happening when windows vista machine connects with Windows Vista Home Permium (this could be wrong)
I am more or less wondering if Vista has some issues with licensing and terminal services?
Answer : Problem: Terminal Services Licensing
Windows Vista requires a CAL to access Windows 2000 terminal server. Windows XP does not require a CAL, as Microsoft "gave" them CALS built-in. You will need to purchase CALS for your Vista boxes.
