Question : Problem: USB to Parallel

My laptop does not have a parallel port on it. I need to communicate to a C10 breakout board via a parallel portusing a software package called Mach 3. Most of the reviews I have read say that the USB to parallel converters only work with printers. Does anyone know of one that will let my software pass info back and forth via LPT1

As long as you choose a USB to Parallel adapter the supports two way communication, like for a multifunction printer, you should be fine.
