Question : Problem: Ghost 100 of computers into a domain

Hello experts..

I have taken a ghost of a pc, the pc is a member of a domain.
My question is, is it possible to make a ghost of a pc thats member of a domain, and then restore the image to alots of pc's and the only thing to do next, is to change there names and passwords. So I dont have to join every singel pc into the domain again?

If not, what will be the best thing to do a ghost if all the pc's is in a domain.?

you can't just restore the images, as every computer in a domain needs a unique hostname and a unique SID (security ID). Ghost offers tools to change the hostname and the SID after you have written the image. However, you need some schema how to name your computers.

Ghost itself provides some tools for this, but there is an open source alternative, which is quite good at this: http://drbl-winroll.sourceforge.net/
