Question : Problem: Remote access without using an account with local admin privileges

Is there any tool that will provide remote access without using an account with local admin privileges?  For security reasons I prefer to use an account with restricted user privileges for my daily work.  However, on the occasions where I want to access the computer remotely, this prevents me.  I currently use Microsoft Remote Desktop but would be willing to try another solution.

Here is what the problem was.  I was using an account that had temporary admin privileges to set itself up as a remote user.  Then when I downgraded that account to user, the setting as a remote user was wiped out.  I fixed the problem by using another admin account to set the user account as a remote user.
