Question : Problem: how to install laptops' nternal hard drive in enclosure

hi
i just bought NexxTech 2.5" Hard Drive Enclosure
i have laptop compaq presario x1800...
i am trying to install my laptop's hard drive in to that enclosure so that i can use it to connect to other machines....
however i dont know how to put this hardware... do i need to remove that electronic chip etc.. from my laptop's hard drive - it is like a fit in laptop, i.e. with plastic cover and screwed on...

The same thing for laptop hard drive, but you dont worry about jumper setting for master / slave.
