Question : Problem: Fiber Array for HP DL145

I am looking for a Fiber Channel Array that I can connect to a HP Proliant DL145 G2 Server. I have one open PCI-X slot in the server and need to connect 600gb of disk but will need to expand to over a TB in the future. Any storage guru's know of anything I can use. I know HP Storageworks is out.
Thanks

Answer : Problem: Fiber Array for HP DL145

A 4-lane SAS bus is faster than f/c and it's cheaper, 12Gbps Vs 8 Gbps (not that you'll get anywhere near that speed unless you have a hundred odd disks in your array.

Fibre channel is faster than iSCSI (assuming 1Gbps ethernet) but again you're going to need a lot of disks to get 1Gbps throughput, you only get 180 iops from your average 15K disk drive.
