Question : Problem: How to share a FAX Modem as a printer ?

HI

I have installed a FAX modem on Windows Server 2003, everything is working properly managed by Microsoft FAX software, I have noticed that the software added a FAX "printer", would be possible to use it as a shared printer instead of installing FAX Modems on each workstation?

Regards.

No Fax application needed on workstations.  After you have run the wizard on SBS box you will have a Fax printer that is shared.  All you need to do is connect to this from the PC's the same way you would connect a shared printer.  Your users can manage then print to this to send faxes via the server.  If they want to see the Fax queue then they can use the fax console in Start>Programs>Accessories>Communications>Fax
