I am trying to recover some information from a travan backup tape, but I don't know what software was used to create the backup in the first place. I have used seagate direct access, Tape Ware, Backup Exec, and some other ones that I can't really think of... They will all allow me to create a new backup, but not read the old backup that was on there originally... Is there any way to get the files off of this tape? Please let me know ASAP. Thanks.
