Question : Problem: Ultra Desktop hangs on post when HP PhotoSmart C7280 is plugged in
Ultra Desktop hangs on post when HP PhotoSmart C7280 is plugged in and turned on.
We've tried:
Updating the BIOS to the latest firmware. Didn't help.
Calling Ultra Support (they were no help)
Plugging it into different USB Ports. Didn't help.
Reconfigured the boot order so Hard Drive is at the top. Didn't help.
The BIOS doesn't have an option to disable USB Boot or Removable Drive boot.
Any suggestions?
Answer : Problem: Ultra Desktop hangs on post when HP PhotoSmart C7280 is plugged in
It is most likely because the printer has a built in card reader, it's trying to boot off a card, even if one is not present. Do you have an option in the BIOS to turn off legacy usb support?
