i am trying to build a new server XP 4.0 , new farm , and i am getting
Product: Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server for Windows -- Error 1923. Service 'Citrix SMA Service' (Citrix SMA Service) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.

any ideas ?

Answer : Problem: citrix 4.0 server . SMA service fails during the installation

ctx_smauser is a local account on the server, not an AD account. check local users and groups.
