Question : Problem: Blackberry HTML Email SP6 Info on Data Increase required

Hi, I'm upgrading our BES to 4.1.6 shortly cutting the server over to new hardware at the same time.

I'm trying to find some information on how much our data usage will increase when html email is enabled. I know you can turn off options like loading images. I basically don't want our devices to suddenly start going over there current data plan of 500MB a month.

Searching the RIM forums and EE I haven't been able to find anything on the estimated data increase.

Hi, there are no official figures as this is can only be determined on a per user basis.  On many of the sites I manage they had the same concern but the increase wasnt even noticeable (e.g. a few MB extra per user per month for heavy users).  Keep in mind most html content will only be formatted text and images in email signatures.  When users receive a full html news letter it will only download the none imbedded content if you press the menu button and select Get Images.
