Question : Problem: TRUECRYPT for USB STICK

Have the software truecyrpt and I cant seem to figure out how to protect a folder on this USB stick, or even the entire usb drive itself.

The documentation on the web site is pretty much a step by step guide.

Open up Truecrypt, click create a standard volume.

Create a file on your Stick, I just made a txt file (don't use the file you want to protect), select your encryption type, select a size and then password and that is it.

Then you want to mount the volume, which will make it show as a new drive and copy your file over to it.

If you are feeling brave or have some seriously secret squirrel stuff to hide, you can create a hidden volume within a standard volume.
