Question : Problem: Setup Mirror on established server

I have a Dell 2600 running 2003 standard server on one disk, i have purchased a new disk to install as a mirror to the orgional.  I can obviusly do this within the OS but i would preffer to use the raid backplain and the open manage software. I not not done this retrospectively  before can anyone point me in the right direction?

I would make sure that you have a full backup and / or image of the drive before attempting anything.

I would check the Dell docs to see if this is possible, since you are actually going to try to rebuild a RAID, as if one drive failed.

Normal operation is to create the RAID with 2 clean drives.
