Question : Problem: HP Switch VLANs
|
|
I have a 4104gl switch (L3) and I am trying to setup routing to the default gateway for my secondary VLAN. Right now I can ping the IP that I have assigned to the second VLAN, but nothing else. IP routing is turned on, and I have a static default route. Here's the configuration:
Default Gateway:10.1.129.1
Default_VLAN: IP:10.1.129.30/24
Second_VLAN: IP:192.168.2.1/24
Default route: 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.129.1
Currently, all ports are untagged for the Default_VLAN, except one that is untagged on the Second_VLAN.
Thanks

If you can ping 10.1.129.30 from VLAN 2, routing seems to be working. The default gateway for the 10.1.129.0 clients is set to 10.1.129.30, right? Can you ping 192.168.2.1 from a host on VLAN 1 (10.1.129.x)?
