Question : Problem: Backup Question on Storage

I am in the process of trying and find fitting answers for this interview question:
Can you help?

I have a Storage Area Network and i need to propose a backup solution for the Client. He has a Large database and is very critical. The following are the requirements.

1. The Backup Solution should be the least expensive (however this option is negotiable)
2. The Data Loss should be 0% or the most minimal as possible. That is if i restore data i should have least data loss as possible and i need latest data
3. The Recovery time must be the fastest.

What should we suggest?

What SAN is it, they might be able to do snapshots. Generally expensive license needed but maybe they already have it bundled in.
