Question : Problem: Graphics card dead, new card restarts XP
|
|
ATI Radeon 9800XT has died on an XP PC. Replacing with another card only allows Windows to part boot then restart again, even in safe mode.
How can I disable the boot process from looking for the old graphics card yet allow a boot using the new Radeon 9250? There are no onboard graphics on the Asus SK8N motherboard.
I'm an advanced user so any suggestion is welcome.
Thanks in advance
