Question : Problem: No Audio Device on Dell Laptop
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. The audio has stopped working. All of the drivers appear to be loaded in device manager. I have flashed the bios, updated the chipset drivers, downloaded and reinstalled the audio drivers, and reloaded xp media center. The sound control still shows "no audio device". Thanks for any suggestions

I bet your audio device is damaged or disconected from your motherboard. Call Dell (I know it sucks but do it) they have a great diagnostics software that will tell them ifyour hardware is damaged or anything. It really does work very well. My bet is your device isn't connected.
Sorry, Anthony (sometimes the Manufacturer is the best option unfortunately)
