Question : Problem: PC to 1080p HDMI port or DVI
I have a 42" LG TV that I want to send Video (and sound if possible) from my pc.
I currently have a DVI to HDMI cable, but if I get a video card with just HDMI out I can return it.
My biggest concern is that I would like to keep the video card cost at $50-$100, yet have the full screen with a nice picture. Playing a movie with VLC on the tv would be nice - but just web surfing and music would be ok. I am concerned I will get a bad picture or a small 24" scaled down viewing area.
I am lost as to what digital card to get for my pc.
The pc has Available PCI-E x16 slots = 1 PCI-Ex1 = 0 Currently VGA out

This card should work well for what you want.
