Question : Problem: Intel ProSet - how to use on a system where user DOES NOT have admin rights
Does anyone know how to set up Intel ProSet so that it can be used on a system by a user who has standard permissions/rights?
I want to set up a laptop w/ wireless using Intel ProSet profiles. These are stand-alone machines that are not connected to a domain. Users will not have local admin rights on the machine. I use a local admin acct to set up and test the Intel Proset profiles.
A standard user logs in to the machine, and cannot connect with wireless unless they allow windows to manage the wireless connections.
Any way to get around this behavior??
Using Dell Latitude D600s, Windows XP Pro SP2 or 3.
Thanks in advance
