Question : Problem: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy - buzzing / crackling / feedback loop in "CD Digital" channel

I recently re-installed windows and after installing my sound card, a Creative Sound Blaster Augigy Platinum, and rebooting the machine, there's a terrible buzzing coming from the speakers - possibly some kind of feedback loop, like a really short sample being played over and over. If I mute the CD Digital channel, it goes away (but I presume it's still technically "happening." it's still there if I unmute the channel).

It's probably just something hooked up wrong, or a conflict with another device, but I can't figure it out. Also can't find anything specific to this problem on the Creative site. Has anyone else seen this problem? Your help would be much appreciated.

Did you ever try another PCI slot? IRQs and addresses were likely reassigned when Windows was installed.
