Question : Problem: i have a acer e 700 need to install

alright i have a acer e 700 and want to install a nvidia graphics card 512 mb ddr2 6600 oc overclocked .would it be ok to install this hard ware with the tower or mother board i have ?i think my power supply is 300 watts but no positive,and i have 2.4 ghz prossecor also do i have to unistall my other grahics card etc how or what do i do to begin want to make sure i dont mess it up to be sure ,i have installed sound cards hard drives etc ram but first time for grahics cards so want to be sure thanks also its a intel core 2 quad cpu 2.4 ghz .32 bit operating system                Specifications

K good then you might not have to even disable the on board video. this should be just as simple as open case, install the card, plug in the additional power supply to the card if it requires one,  boot machine and install the driver package from nvida. Should be plug and play with no problems. follow basic precautions and use a grounding strap to avoid static discharge
