Question : Problem: My laptop's screen is very dark

Several days ago, my laptop's screen began to shaking sharplly, and later became very dark.  Looking at the screen carefully, all the icons, background, start manu are still there. The start manu can still be poped up. The mouse is still working; it is just very hard to find it.
When starting the computer, it will start as usual.  In a word, it seems everything is normal except the screen is too dark to see and to find the mouse.

What is the possible problem? How can I fix it?

Answer : Problem: My laptop's screen is very dark

It sounds like you have a backlight failure. Sometimes it can be as simple as a faulty FL Inverter, if not a faulty LCD screen. It will be one of the two.
