Question : Problem: Are my raid settings right?
I had to set up my raid controllers manually because my server isnt supported by a smart start cd. I set hard drive 1 and 2 to be in the array and the third drive to be hot swapable. I synchronized it, but the menu still said synchronized = 0% . but it all looks proper. Whats the deal with synchronizing the two drives? and if the firs two drives are synchronized whats the point of a third drive being hot swappable?
Answer : Problem: Are my raid settings right?
1) What RAID controller
2) Have you read the RAID controller DOCS ?
3) IS there a management tool in Windows for this RAID controller ?
I hope this helps !
