Question : Problem: Scanning documents using ISIS/TWAIN driver
Anyone know why there is a delay of ~ 7-8 secs between feeding pages from the automatic document feeder on an HP ScanJet 7650? I'm scanning into an Acrobat document using the ISIS/TWAIN driver supplied from the HP software the scanner came with. I'm scanning @ 200 dpi (black & white). Each page takes ~ 7-8 seconds to scan and like I said, there is a delay of ~ 7-8 seconds between spitting out a page and feeding the next one. All told, it takes ~ 2 mins to scan 9 pages @ 200 dpi (black & white). I was told by HP's online help to check my scanner settings, but if any of you are familiar with using the ISIS driver, the only configuration settings you can adjust are dpi, black & white versus color and some other basic stuff. The ISIS driver is supposed to allow the scanner to scan at or above its rated speed but it seems like the delay between feeding pages is not right. Is this normal or am I missing something?Any ideas?
Answer : Problem: Scanning documents using ISIS/TWAIN driver
Then the problem is not Acrobat, it's either the driver or the scanner.
