I have a maxtor ata 133 hd NTFS it is only being reported as a 76.3G in my computer what is the deal wheres the other 3.7gigs?

HD makers calculate different (rippoff)

1mb = 1000 000 bytes
1mb is not 1048576

so for 80 gig u lose exactly 3.88608 gig :)
