Question : Problem: Celeron 500 or Pentium III 600

I'm ordering a Dell laptop...
which (CPU) you would you choose, and why:

Celeron 500 Mhz (w/128 cache) or
Pentium III 600 mhz (w/256 cache) (for $150 more)?

(I'm getting 32 meg ram and ordering an additional 128 meg from Crucial)

PS- What is XGA exactly?  I gather it is better than SVGA.  And, as far as bus speed goes--IS 66 really NOT noticably slower than 100?  What about the cache?  Is 256 THAT much better than 128?--is it beter at all?  
I use my computer for writing (beyond 84,000 words now--I like it as ONE document)and wasting time on the web.
