Question : Problem: Testing a Sony PSU with a multitester.

Does anyone know how to test a Sony PCV-W510G Power Supply Using a multimeter?  This power supply is a switching type and it has a 18 pin connector.  It is manufactured by Delta Electronics, Inc..  Model DPS-190BB-1.  Typically, I would just switch the power supply out with a known good PSU, but because they are Sony proprietary, the power supply is too expensive for this purpose.  This PSU can not be tested with an ATX type tester.  I have not even been able to find a pinout, but the wire colors are purple pink, red, orange, yellow, brown and black.  I suspect that the PSU is at fault, but I would like more evidence before purchasing a new one.
