Question : Problem: Printers do not take documents from their queue.

My Epson had been working fine for years with EMachines XP desktop. Now I connected it to Inspiron 1720 Vista Ultimate via LPT->USB canble. Vista does not have driver for this model (bravo, Microsoft, don't give up!), and found in the Internet that HP Laser III will do. I installed it and the printer *output its test page successfully* but only once. I decided to try another printer. I downloaded and installed a new Konica PagePro driver for Vista, and it did not output its test page. Both test pages are in their respective queues.
What am I missing here please?
Please see the attached image.
Thanks,

HP's driver for Epson is from Vista's list.
I downloaded driver for PagePro 1400W from http://printer.konicaminolta.com/support/current_printers/PP1400W_sup.htm#Drivers
The driver for XP taken from the same site works fine on another notebook.
