Question : Problem: How do I connect my mini dv camera to my macbook pro?

I have a fire wire cable attached to my mom's imac that connects to my sony mini dv camera for capturing video.

My work just purchased a macbook pro for me and I'm wondering what port adapter I will need to connect my camera to my laptop while I''m on the road.
