Question : Problem: VPN connection in an application

Hey experts,

  Is it possible to connect to a VPN server inside an application; in case of no can you please explain why, and in case of yes, can you explain how. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if you can do it with a third party app, then again I don't know programming. You could start the client with something like (DOS/batch file) "cmd /c "  but then you would have to initiate the connection from within the app. Other than some key stroke simulator, I don't know how you would do that.
I believe there are ways to make the Cisco client connect before a user logs on, but I assume that is not what you are trying to do.

What about the opposite; it is usually possible to have the VPN client start an application.
